Today we very briefly talked about Metaphors and the students listened to 2 poems that contained extended metaphors and then they each wrote a few new adn creative metaphors of their own. Next we read chapter 4 in The Pigman and students had a few minutes to work on the Q’s for chapters 3-4. If any student needs additional time with the book to catch up with the study questions, please come to my room at 8:20 any day this week for extra time.
HW: Keep in mind that you have a Quiz on Ch. 1-5 incl. vocab on Monday!
