Today we read the last chapters of The Giver and and some discussion of our thoughts, reflections and interpretations of it. We also read most of Lois Lowry’s Acceptance Speech for the Newbery Medal for The Giver, which gives a bit of insight into what inspired the book and the author’s purpose.
HW: Review and work on study Q’s – TEST on March 31.
