Today students turned in Utopia Projects. Anyone who did not turn it in today may do so tomorrow for a 20% deduction (with the exception of those given extra time due to excused absences). Students received packets of the study questions for The Giver. We went over class expectations and procedures for the unit, including, but not limited to, bring your packet to each class, stay caught up on question sections as they are assigned, pick up your #’d book from the book on the way in and return it to the right place before you leave. We began reading The Giver together and finished near the end of chapter one for most classes.
TOMORROW ~ You will finish Ch. 1 as needed and read Ch 2. You will then work on study questions in class and complete those in the Ch 1-2 section. You will then do the Context Clues Vocab Wksht for Ch 3-5 (both sides) and finish for HW if needed.
