Today students recieved the article for Alice Walker (the last of the GA authors we will be studying). We reviewed and practiced annotation together with the first paragraph. Then students were to read through the article carefully and thoughtfully and annotate it. Students were then to re-read the article as they highlighted the main ideas and most important supporting details (that will go into the notes). Most finished this in class, but anyone who did not needs to complete it before class tomorrow.
HW: none (see above) – FYI – TEST on Wednesday over GA Authors! You will be allowed to use Notes only – NO articles! (so make sure you have all the notes and they are organized and complete.)
