Today we quickly finished up the Grizzard presentations and then filled in our “L” for Grizzard on KWL. Then we filled in the “K” and “W” for Carole Marsh. We read a little introductory story about Carole Marsh and highlighted and annotated it with explanations, questions, inferences, predictions, etc. We also read the “About the Author” from one of her books and highlighted that as well. Some classes were able to do all of this during class time. Some will have to finish highlighting and annotating the front and back of the paper. Students should have both sides highlighted appropriately and at least 4 annotations on the front (”intro”) and 2 on the back (”about author”).
