First we quickly finished up our notes on Lewis Grizzard. Then students got into groups of 3-4 and each group was given copies of a Grizzard column. Each group used class time to read and discuss article and come up with a creative way to present it (the ideas, story, opinion therein) to the class tomorrow. (i.e. – acting it out, using props, creating illustrations/graphics, etc.). Students will present tomorrow and after the class watched the presentation the group will also read the column aloud to the class in Grizzard’s own words.
