Today students started by checking that they had the articles for each of the 5 authors we have studied so far, as well as the corresponding notes. Students were given the chance to get whatever might be missing, so that (hypothetically speaking) if there was an open note quiz, students will be without excuse. After checking for the 5 articles and sets of notes, students were given time to make sure that they had at least 3 things in each of the “L” (learned) boxes of the KWL chart. We ended class with a listening journal activity for To Dance with the White Dog.
HW: None (but make sure you have all your notes for class and they are organized and easily accessible.)
