Friday and Monday we finished up our look at Joel Chandler Harris. Students should have completed the KWL chart sections for both J. C. Harris and Sidney Lanier.
Today we did a little more review and discussion of dialect as we looked at an Uncle Remus story. Then we filled in the “K” and “W” sections for Margaret Mitchell and Caroline Miller. We also prepared to take notes on C. Miller, which we will do tomorrow.
HW: Be ready and organized for a notes/notebook check.
