Today we finished the notes on Sidney Lanier and read and discussed a few of his poems. “Baby Charley”, “An Evening Song” and “A Song of Eternity in Time.”
Tomorrow (I will be out) we will do another activity with the poems. We will listen to an example of a folktale told in dialect, like Joel Chandler Harris used to write and prepare to take notes on J. C. Harris.
