Today students began to complete a KWL chart on Georgia Authors by filling in what was Known about Joel Chandler Harris and Sidney Lanier, as well as what we Want to know. Then we reviewed two-column notes and note-taking strategies. We then put this into practice as we read and highlighted an passage about Sidney Lanier and then put the main ideas and important details into our two-column notes.
