Today we discussed and practiced making inferences. The earlier activity of “drawing logical conclusions” proved challenging for most students. (fyi – worksheet grade was for completion) After we Inferences, we looked at poem for examples of personification, sensory imagery, alliteration, tone and mood, and few other things. Students also practiced identifying idioms, similes and metaphors.
