Today we reviewed a little about historical fiction and segued into our upcoming unit on Georgia authors by watching some of Gone with the Wind based on Margret Mitchell’s acclaimed novel. Students will be learing about this era in GA history next semester, so hopefully this will help them more easily visualize and understand the time period. Students were to keep a list of characters and key points to help them remember who was who and what was happening.
