Today students began creating/compiling a list of characters and descriptions from their mystery book. Students also took notes on their reading to explain and describe the setting of the book. Students had at least 20 minutes of class time to read silently and take notes. Students were given a Reading Log that they will use all week to complete nightly reading homework. This Reading Log requires a parent/guardian signature. Students should aim for 15-25 min of reading each night, depending upon how fast they read and how many pages they need to read each day. (Books should be finished by Oct. 28 or before.)
