Today we focused on the vocabulary from our Protest! booklet. Using context clues, we came up with a definition for each of the following words: protest, right, Amendment, suffrage, suffragists, petitions, politician, demonstration, radical, picket, hunger strike, segregated, boycott, leaflets and unconstitutional. Students contributed and made a list of all the words and definitions.
