Today (after the daily idiom) we reviewed the latter part of “Fighting for Equal Rights” pg 16-17 and then shared and dicussed the inferences we made and added some to our charts. Then we added examples of Cause and Effect from “Fighting…” to our Cause/Effect Charts (see Tues 8/19).
Students then answered discussion questions about the first 3 sections of the book. Students were reminded to continue to update their Concept/Details chart as they gained more understanding of the connection between the various concepts and details.
HW: None – just finish up any class work and come prepared on Monday.
