Today we continued working on the poetry booklets. Students were instructed to focus on getting the poems copied from the packet into the booklet since I would be taking up the packet for a grade at the end of class today. The last of the packet was assigned last Thursday to be finished Friday, but students had the weekend to finish, if need be. The whole class period was spent on the poetry booklet. Tomorrow we will spend about half the class period on it and then whatever is not done will be homework. The finished project is due Wednesday. On Wednesday students will be able to share selected poems with their classmates.
HW: Continue on booklet if you don’t think you can finish it during class tomorrow.
